Faith and Reason
Faith is a supernatural virtue infused by God as a gift, requiring the interior help of the Holy Spirit to be exercised (CCC 153, 154) And, reason is the natural light through which God can be known with certainty, a capacity resulting from humanity being created in the image of God (CCC 36).
